SAN FRANCISCO // AUSTIN // LOS ANGELES – US Roadbook 2” nouvel opus qui succède à mon premier ouvrage “NEW YORK // AUSTIN // CHICAGO – US Roadbook” sorti en 2019
Pour cette seconde édition, Olivier Pièrart a vu le choses en plus grand et en tous points. Plus de pages (246 pages contre 186), plus de jours de voyage (18 contre 14) et enfin, un chapitre sur la sérigraphie de concert pas moins de 4X plus épais, à travers un reportage photographique au festival de sérigraphie de concerts “Flatstock 84” à Austin (Texas-USA) lors du SXSW 2023.
Une publication autonome, comme pour la première publication, pour ce livre en français et en anglais, Olivier Piérart réalise tout de A à Z : shooting, retouches, textes, design, mise en page, traduction, ... en autoédition pure !
Comme le premier livre (désormais épuisé) celui-ci est aussi imprimé à un petit tirage de 200 exemplaires. Ses pages seront tantôt imprimées en full quadri, tantôt en noir et blanc, tantôt sur des papiers fluos, blancs, et autree nouveauté, sur des papiers silver (argentés)!

For this second edition, I saw things on a bigger scale and in all respects. More pages (246 pages compared to 186 for the first), more days of travel (18 compared to 14) and finally, a chapter on screen printed printed gig posters no less than 4X thicker, through a photographic report at the “Flatstock 84”, a gig posters festival in Austin (Texas-USA) during SXSW 2023.
As you will have understood, this represents a huge amount of work since, as for the first publication, for this book in French and English, I did everything alone from A to Z (shooting, retouching, texts, design, layout, translation, and so on …)
This therefore demonstrates a certain feat of strength, and a certain challenge since this time I am self-publishing, alone, all this work!
Like the first book (now out of print) this one will also be printed in a small print run since only 200 copies will be available. Its pages will sometimes be printed in full four-color, sometimes in black and white, sometimes on fluorescent paper, white papers, and new again this time, on silver papers!
